A CPU (26) obtains, in parallel with an imaging surface pan/tilt operation, a plurality of frames of image data that indicate a scene captured by an image sensor (16), and detects a plurality of moving object images each appearing in the obtained plurality of frames of image data. The CPU (26) also creates a plurality of frames of still object image data in which only still object images remain after each of the plurality of moving object images are removed from the obtained plurality of frames of image data, and creates a single composite image data on the basis of one of the plurality of moving object images and the plurality of frames of still object image data. |
