<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an adhesion state of a rain drop from a picked-up image in a light source irradiation region on a front glass surface irradiated with light from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging unit includes a light source 202 for irradiating light toward a front glass 105, an imaging element 206 having an imaging lens and a plurality of pixel arrays on the same side as the light source with respect to the front glass, and an optical filter 205 between the imaging lens and the imaging element. The imaging unit is provided with an imaging apparatus 201 for imaging light from the light source reflected by a rain drop 203 adhered on the surface opposite to the side of the light source of the front glass, and by dividing a picked-up image in the light source irradiation region on the front glass surface irradiated by light from the light source into a plurality of regions, detects a rain drop adhesion state on the basis of spot pixels contained in the plurality of regional images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
