摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head capable of increasing a displacement quantity of a piezoelectric element by efficiently and simultaneously using a plurality of vibration modes. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid ejection head 110 has an ejection port 102 ejecting a liquid and a pressure chamber 103 communicating with the ejection port 102 and extending in a longitudinal direction. A prescribed part of a sidewall of the pressure chamber 103 is defined with a partition wall 210 formed of a piezoelectric material, and while a first electrode 201 is provided to a surface of the partition wall 210 on the side of the pressure chamber, a second electrode 202 is provided to the opposite surface from the pressure chamber 103 across the first electrode 201, respectively. The partition wall 210 has a first region polarized obliquely to one side in a direction of an electric field generated by application of a voltage between the first electrode 201 and the second electrode 202 and a second region polarized obliquely to the opposite side from the one side in the direction of the electric field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
