<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate behavior of multiple particles in a dense state at a high speed with consideration for the shape. <P>SOLUTION: When a contact between a particle i and a particle j is determined in a behavior analysis of multiple particles in a dense state, a unit vector in the direction of heading from the particle i to the particle j and a unit vector in the direction where an overlapping between the particles i and j is minimized are defined. Contactable vertices are narrowed from an internal product of both the unit vectors and the position vectors of the respective vertices to significantly reduce combinations of sides and faces subjected to a contact determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
