<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp type luminaire capable of facilitating the power saving. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp type luminaire comprising light-emitting means A, B including a plurality (pair of left and right) of light-emitting diodes 1, as a light source, juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction and radiating light like a fluorescent lamp when the light source is lighted is provided with control means 3 for lighting other light-emitting diodes 1 while maintaining the unlighted state of some (left half or right half) light-emitting diodes 1 of the light source.
