[Problem] The early detection of Alzheimer's dementia. [Solution] Provided is a diagnostic kit for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease, wherein the diagnostic kit comprises carbohydrate chain detection means for quantitatively detecting the amount of carbohydrate chain derived from complement C3 protein in a body fluid sample of a mammal to be tested. Also provided is a diagnostic marker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease, wherein the diagnostic marker includes the amount of carbohydrate chain derived from complement C3 protein in a body fluid sample of a mammal to be tested. Further provided is a method for detecting a morbidity indicator of Alzheimer's disease, wherein the detection method comprises a step for quantitatively detecting the amount of carbohydrate chain derived from complement C3 protein in a body fluid sample of a mammal to be tested.
