[Class 135] A closure cap 19, Fig. 2, for a radiator of an internal-combustion engine, comprises a domed valve 27 which is loosely and pivotally mounted on a stud 22 secured to the cap and is adapted to be pressed by a spring 25 on a seat 13 in the filler spout 10, and which houses a secondary valve 34 at its lower end. The valve 34 is normally held on its seating 33 by a spring 36 but opens when subjected to an excessive external pressure; alternatively, Fig. 3, the valve is normally open, being retained within the valve 27 by a ring 38 engaging a groove 37 in the latter, and is closed by excess internal pressure. The spout 10 is provided with an loverflow pipe 11, and the cap is secured thereto by a bayonet-like engagement of fingers 18 on the cap with an outwardlydirected cam skirt 16 on said spout, the stud 22 being so related to the valve 27 that the latter is raised from its seating 13 before removal of the cap from the spout. The valve 27 is provided with a sealing gasket 30 retained in place by a member 32 which has a press fit &c. within said valve and constitutes the seating of the valve 34, and a spring disc 15 is preferably located on the stud 22 to seat on a ridge 14 of the spout skirt 16.</p>
