A self-biased resistor-capacitor (RC) oscillator and a ramp generator circuit include a combined current-voltage reference circuit for providing a reference current, a first reference voltage, and a second reference voltage. The combined current-voltage reference circuit includes a branch circuit which has a diode-connected NMOS transistor, a resistor, and a diode-connected PMOS transistor coupled in series. The self-biased RC oscillator and the ramp generator circuit include a signal generating circuit which includes a capacitor. The signal generating circuit charges the capacitor from the first reference voltage to the second reference voltage, and discharges the capacitor from the second reference voltage to the first reference voltage. The self-biased RC oscillator and the ramp generator circuit provide a ramp signal or a saw tooth signal in a node of the capacitor, and provide an oscillation frequency output signal in an output terminal of the signal generating circuit. |
