<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low shrinkage concrete having a drying shrinkage strain of 500×10<SP POS="POST">-6</SP>or less, and to provide a method for producing low shrinkage concrete capable of obtaining the low shrinkage concrete by easily determining the type of aggregate which can be used in achieving such low shrinkage concrete from a quantitative index using basic physical properties such as aggregate water absorption as a parameter and using the selected aggregate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing low shrinkage concrete includes: blending water so that the water-cement mass ratio may be 25 to 65% and the water content per unit volume of concrete may be 140-180 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>; and selecting and blending an aggregate satisfying following formula (1), wherein Vs<SB POS="POST">m</SB>denotes an absolute volume (L) of fine aggregate; Vg<SB POS="POST">n</SB>denotes an absolute volume (L) of coarse aggregate; Qs<SB POS="POST">n</SB>denotes a water absorption (%) of fine aggregate; Qg<SB POS="POST">n</SB>denotes the water absorption (%) of coarse aggregate; and m and n denote the number (integer) of the type of aggregate used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
