PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an indoor unit for an air conditioner capable of improving an interior property while securing functionality.SOLUTION: An indoor unit 100 for an air conditioner includes: a housing 7 having a wall part 21 extending in a longitudinal direction; and a front panel 8 for covering a front side of at least one part of a region of the wall part 21. In the region which is covered by the front panel 8 of the wall part 21, an opening 22 communicating with a front end of a space 32 in which a network repeater 9 for wirelessly communicating with the network is accommodated is formed.
