PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular imaging system making it possible to reduce a load of processing an image that shows the vicinity of a vehicle and that is taken by a camera.SOLUTION: A vehicular imaging system 100 includes a forward-looking camera 1 that images a scene in front of a vehicle, a leftward-looking camera 2 that images a scene on a left side of the vehicle, a rightward-looking camera 3 that images a scene on a right side of the vehicle, a rearward-looking camera 4 that images a scene behind the vehicle, and a signal processing unit 20 that performs signal processing on each of images in respective directions taken by the respective cameras 1 to 4 and outputs a predetermined signal. The cameras 1 to 4 have their imaging ranges in respective imaging directions. The signal processing unit 20 performs signal processing on each of images acquired in restrictive visual areas that are restricted to predetermined ranges within the imaging ranges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
