摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable exposure free from fluctuation of power supply frequency, under a flicker light source that is lighted by a power supply of a predetermined frequency.SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 includes an imaging element 103, a photometric sensor 108 for metering the amount of light impinging on the imaging element 103 through a barrel 100B, and an ICPU112 for detecting whether or not the light from a flicker light source is contained in the incident light. When the fact that the light from a flicker light source is contained in the incident light is detected, the ICPU112 generates a flicker synchronization signal by detecting the phase of the light from the flicker light source, e.g., the peak timing t_peak of the amount of flicker light, immediately before exposure of main shooting, and adjusts the time until exposure of main shooting is started from the flicker synchronization signal, so that the peak timing t_peak is included in the exposure time when performing main shooting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
