PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of obtaining printed matter in which sharpness is made compatible with noise resistance, without incurring image quality trouble.SOLUTION: The image processing system includes: a unit region reading section for reading a unit region that is formed from a plurality of pixels; and an in-class total value calculation section which divides pixel values within the unit region into a plurality of classes in accordance with magnitudes of the pixel values and calculates total values of the pixel values within the plurality of classes, respectively. Further, the image processing system includes an ON pixel arrangement section for arranging ON pixels in a density order that starts from a greatest pixel value, or in a dot concentrated pattern order that is a predetermined priority order, on the basis of the in-class total value for each class. Thus, the image processing system is capable of obtaining the printed matter in which sharpness is made compatible with noise resistance, without incurring the image quality trouble.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
