PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission in which members constituting a shift unit can be efficiently arranged at a lower part of an external side-face of a transmission case, and whose mountability on a vehicle in a vertical arrangement can be improved.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission 2, an opening 4b is formed obliquely below an input shaft in the outer periphery of a front case 4, and an outer end part 16b of a clutch lever 16 is exposed to the outside of the front case 4 from the opening 4b. In addition, a clutch actuator 17 is arranged so as to extend from the outer end part 16b of the clutch lever 16 toward a shift-and-selection shaft 34 in parallel with the axial direction of a transmission case 2A. A transmission actuator 64 and a control device 49 are arranged above the clutch actuator 17, and a hydraulic generator 63 is arranged above the outer end part 16b of the clutch lever 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
