PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly manage the amount of toner remaining in a toner supply apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: a toner supply motor 406 which is driven in response to a toner supply instruction, to supply toner housed in a toner supply apparatus 5 to a developing apparatus 4; a toner supply information management section 94 which writes driving time information, at every toner supply, cumulatively on a recording member 501 mounted on the toner supply apparatus 5; a toner concentration sensor 401 which is arranged in the developing apparatus 4, to detect toner concentration continuously; and a compensation processing section 92 which converts the amount of toner corresponding to increased toner concentration, as compensation information, when the toner concentration sensor 401 detects increase in toner concentration, without receiving the toner supply instruction, and writes the obtained compensation information cumulatively on the driving time information stored in the recording member 501.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
