PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs.SOLUTION: In a door mirror device 10 for a vehicle, rotation of a gear plate 40 is restricted, and rotation of a mirror is restricted by a fact that a hinge part 48A of a coil spring 48 is inserted into a restriction groove 46 of the gear plate 40 in a storage mechanism 14. When rotational force with high load is input in the gear plate 40 from a mirror side, the rotation of the gear plate 40 is allowed, and the rotation of the mirror is allowed by a fact that insertion of the hinge part 48A into the restriction groove 46 is released. Here, since the coil spring 48 is engaged into the gear plate 40, and the rotation of the gear plate 40 is restricted, a conventional clutch can be made unnecessary. Thus, the number of components of the storage mechanism 14 can be reduced, and costs can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
