<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation membrane module capable of anhydrizing (concentrating) fluids, such as a liquid mixture of organic solvents and water and vapor mixture thereof, in an ethanol production facility, capable of suppressing pressure drop even if increasing the installation number of baffle plates, capable of sufficiently securing a partial pressure difference of the primary and secondary sides of non-separation component being a driving force of transmission to prevent reduction of permeable vapors, and capable of effectively bringing a membrane separation function into action over the whole length of a tubular zeolite separation membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The inner diameter of the insertion hole 7 of a tubular separation membrane element provided on each baffle plate 6 in the separation membrane module 1 is made to be larger than the outer diameter of the above membrane element 5. Further, the pores 8 for circulating a fluid mixture is provided between the inner peripheral face of the insertion hole 7 and the outer peripheral face of the element 5, and the separation function of the fluid mixture by the separation membrane of the element 5 is served even in the pores 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
