PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that a pressed mark is formed on a recording surface of a roll sheet or the like by a roller without impairing convenience which is one of the merits of using the roll sheet or the like.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 1 is provided with a roll sheet feeding device 20 (transporting device) for feeding a roll sheet RP by rotating a feeding drive roller 23 under a state that the feeding drive roller 23 and a feeding driven roller 24 hold the roll sheet RP. A feeding driven roller holder 31 pivotally supporting the feeding driven roller 24 via a rod spring 34 swings by rotating an eccentric cam 32, thereby, a pressing load of the feeding driven roller 24 against the feeding drive roller 23 can be switched to any of a first pressing load or a second pressing load smaller than the first pressing load. |
