<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which surely prevents the step-out state of a pulse motor, thereby smoothly drives components. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a motor driving circuit 73 which outputs a plurality of pulse instructions, a sheet feeding motor 72 which rotates following a plurality of pulse instructions, a platen roller 26 for transferring a length-unfixed roll sheet 3A, etc., a thermal head 31 which performs desired printing based on print data, and a thermal head driving circuit 71 which carries out current-supply control of switching a current-supply pattern for each line print data in correspondence to a print cycle T. The printer changes output patterns of a plurality of pulse instructions to control the rotation speed of the sheet feeding motor 72, and determines whether a step-out state has occurred, in which the rotation of the sheet feeding motor 72 falls into disorder in following the plurality of pulse instructions. When the step-out state has occurred, the printer increases or decreases the value of a first target speed V1 to set a corrected target speed that prevents the step-out state, thereby sets the corrected target speed as a second target speed V2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
