<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing floats capable of providing a float with a small specific gravity by suppressing breakage of glass grains mixed in a resin, and the float with a small specific gravity manufactured by the method for manufacturing floats. <P>SOLUTION: A float F is manufactured by generating a mixture formed by mixing high-density polyethylene resin particles P with hollow glass beads G, with their retaining solid states respectively; and placing the mixture in a die and compressing and molding while heating it to a fusion temperature or more of the high-density polyethylene resin particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
