PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transuranium element nuclear transmutation method for reducing radioactive toxicity of high-level radioactive waste.SOLUTION: The transuranium element nuclear transmutation method includes: a nuclear transmutation step S02 to carry out nuclear transmutation of the plutonium 239 by using a plutonium 239 nuclear transmutation system; subsequent to the plutonium 239 nuclear transmutation step S02, higher level TRU nuclear transmutation system setting steps S03, S05 and S07 to set higher level TRU nuclear transmutation system of the transuranium nuclide at the downstream the combustion chain; and after the higher level TRU nuclear transmutation system setting steps S03, S05 and S07, higher level TRU nuclear transmutation steps S04, S06 and S08 to carry out nuclear transmutation of the TRU nuclide by using the nuclear transmutation system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
