PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus that can support services provided through a network and can change a no-operation time-out time.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: a first control unit 112; a display panel 122; a touch panel 124; a timer 130; a first storage unit 114 which stores a time-out time; and a first communication unit 126 which communicates with an external device. In response to a user's selection of a certain service provided by the image formation apparatus, the first storage unit 114 changes the time-out time to a value acquired from the external device providing the selected service, and the first control unit 122 determines whether time-out processing needs to be executed using the changed time-out time. Consequently, a no-operation time-out time suitable for a service provided by the image formation apparatus can be set, and a time-out that a user does not expect is prevented from occurring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
