摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ship propelling system which is easy in an operation for switching a navigation mode to a second mode from a first mode when a shift position of a shift mechanism is out of a forward position.SOLUTION: When it is determined that a low-speed traveling mode switch is pressed down for a prescribed time or longer in an accelerator non-operation state, an ECU determines whether or not a navigation mode is a low-speed navigation mode. When it is determined that the navigation mode is not the low-speed navigation mode, the ECU determines whether or not an engine is stopped. When it is determined that the engine is not stopped, the ECU determines whether or not a shift position is a forward position (S6). When it is determined that the shift position is not the forward position, the ECU controls a shift actuator, and after switching the shift position to the forward position (S7, S8), sets the navigation mode to the low-speed navigation mode (S9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11B
