PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control unit capable of appropriately performing processing of rewriting a control program, which is run by plural processor cores included in a multi-core arithmetic processing unit having an asymmetric structure, using an external unit, and relatively quickly performing rewrite processing.SOLUTION: When a core 21 of a multi-core arithmetic processing unit (MCU) receives a rewrite request for a control program (ROM 42) of a core 22 from an external unit 2, the core 22 performs rewrite processing. The core 22 performs receiving processing of receiving rewrite data and storing the rewrite data in a cache memory (CAM) 32, and processing of writing data stored in the CAM 32 into the ROM 42. When the core 22 performs the processing of writing rewrite data in the ROM 42, the cores 21 and 23 are stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
