PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded article, by which the upper surface of a three-dimensional molded article can be more flattened.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded article is implemented in an inkjet printer including a discharge unit to discharge an ink and a carriage drive unit to reciprocally move the discharge unit in main scanning directions. The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded article includes an enclosure wall setting step, an ink discharging step, and a press-contact curing step. In the enclosure wall setting step, an enclosure wall having the same thickness as that of a layer constituting the three-dimensional molded article is set on a working surface by discharging an ink by the discharge unit that moves in the main scanning directions and irradiating the ink with UV rays. In the ink discharging step, an ink is discharged inside an inner surface of the enclosure wall by the discharge unit that moves in the main scanning directions, on the basis of a feature data of each layer of the three-dimensional molded article. In the press-contact curing step, the ink is exposed to light while a flat surface parallel to the working surface is pressed to the enclosure wall and the ink inside and spaced from the inner surface of the enclosure wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
