摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a secondary battery, whereby desired joining strength can be obtained between an electrode body and a collector plate and satisfactory battery performance is achieved.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a secondary battery is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery that includes an electrode body 31, and a collector plate 51 for extracting electricity from the electrode body 31. The collector plate 51 has a counter bore 52 having a counter face 53, and a through-hole 54 opening in the form of a slit. The slit width of the through-hole 54 is 10% or more but 70% or less of the width of the counter bore 52 in the same direction as the slit width. The manufacturing method for the secondary battery includes the step of providing solder 61 in at least the counter bore 52 selected from the counter bore 52 and through-hole 54; and the step of emitting laser toward the solder 61 right above the counter face 53, thereby joining the collector plate 51 and electrode body 31 via the solder 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
