PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress theft of an attachment of a hydraulic shovel.SOLUTION: A theft prevention device 2 suppresses theft of an attachment 40 to be attached to a bucket pin 50 for connecting the attachment 40 to an arm 10 of a hydraulic shovel. The theft prevention device 2 comprises a communication terminal having: position information acquisition means for acquiring position information; and communication means for sending current position information based on the acquired position information. The theft prevention device 2 further comprises a cover member 70 which is attached to one end of the bucket pin 50, thereby preventing slip-off of the bucket pin 50 from the arm 10 and the attachment 40, and covers the communication terminal. When the bucket pin 50 is pulled out from the arm 10 and the attachment 40, therefore the cover member 70 is removed from the bucket pin 50, the communication terminal notifies a predetermined notification destination of a fact that the bucket pin 50 is pulled out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
