PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of enhancing heat radiation performance, and a header and a socket that are used for the connector.SOLUTION: In a connector 10, a socket housing 30 and a header housing 20 are fitted to each other, whereby a socket-side signal terminal 32 and a header-side signal terminal 22 are brought into contact with each other, and a socket-side power supply terminal 33 and a header-side power supply terminal 23 are brought into contact with each other. A socket-side holding metal fitting 34 is provided to the socket housing 31, and the socket-side holding metal fitting 34 has a fixing terminal 34d to be soldered to a circuit pattern 61 formed on a circuit board 60. The socket-side power supply terminal 33 has a root portion 33a to be soldered to the circuit pattern 61 formed on the circuit board 60.
