PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles that heightens decorative effects.SOLUTION: A decorative ring 50 for decorating a display board 10 in front of a display surface 101 has a reflection surface 500. A first light source unit 40 has a first emission part 401b in front of the display surface 101, and in order to make first light source light L1 reflect forward by the reflection surface 500 and a virtual image of the first emission part 401b display so as to be recognizable from the front, emits the light L1 from the first emission part 401b to the reflection surface 500 as having directivity along the display surface 101. A second light source unit 42 has a second emission part 420a in front of the reflection surface 500, and in order to make a second light source light reflect forward by the reflection surface 500 and scatter, emits the light for diffusely illuminating the reflection surface 500 from the second emission part 420a. A control unit 80 controls the switching of a display mode Mnn in which the light L1 is emitted from the first emission part 401b and a display mode in which light is emitted from the second emission part 420a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
