摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit desired drive torque to drive wheels by preventing a slip of a friction clutch even if the drive torque of an electric motor is abruptly increased.SOLUTION: A gear change control device of an electric vehicle comprises: a drive motor MG2 which generates drive torque; a vehicle speed sensor which measures a vehicle speed; and a transmission 3 which has a low-speed stage and a high-speed stage having a friction clutch 3a, and is arranged between the drive motor MG2 and drive wheels 10. The gear change control device further comprises clutch control means, decreases a torque capacity of the friction clutch 3a at the vehicle speed which is lower than a prescribed speed to a torque capacity at the vehicle speed which is not lower than the prescribed vehicle speed or lower, and performs control so that the torque capacity of the friction clutch 3a at the vehicle speed lower than the prescribed vehicle speed approximates maximum drive torque as the vehicle speed approximates the prescribed vehicle speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
