PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method for soundness of a hollow fiber membrane module, and a soundness holding method.SOLUTION: A diagnostic method for soundness of a hollow fiber membrane module having plural membrane elements configured from a hollow fiber membrane and a housing for accommodating the hollow fiber membrane, in which after a pressure gas is introduced to a secondary side of the hollow fiber membrane thereby reaching a set pressure, introduction of the pressure gas is stopped and the secondary side of the hollow fiber membrane is sealed, pressure drop speed after sealing is measured for every membrane element, and soundness of the hollow fiber membrane module is diagnosed from an integrated value of the pressure drop speeds of the membrane element in the hollow fiber membrane module.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
