<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep pieces of data respectively stored in a plurality of storage devices in a state where the pieces of data are ready to be processed in respective storage devices connected to terminals to which the respective storage devices should be connected. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit detects identification data of a hard disk connected to a first terminal (Step S10) and detects identification data of a hard disk connected to a second terminal (Step S20). Further, the control unit determines whether or not a terminal that the detected identification data indicates is different from the terminal to which the hard disk storing the identification data is connected (Step S30). When the terminal is determined to be different from the terminal to which the hard disk storing the identification data is connected (Step S30: YES), the control unit performs processing in a limited mode (Step S50).
