In a combustion apparatus which supplies air for combustion to multiple burners with one air supply fan and discharges the combustion exhaust gas of each burner through one exhaust passage, the present invention increases the precision of detection of incomplete combustion of the burner. An incomplete combustion dealing unit (62), when a hot water supply burner (31) is extinguished and a heating burner (41) is burning, that is, during a heating′s sole operation, if a second determination condition of incomplete combustion according to the CO concentration detected by a CO sensor (21) is materialized, first extinguishes the heating burner (41) and then reignites it to supervise if a third determination condition of incomplete combustion according to the CO concentration detected by the CO sensor (12) from the time point when re-ignition is materialized or not, and, if the third determination condition is materialized, extinguishes the heating burner (41). |
