A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to embodiments of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a touch screen for outputting an object related to an application, and receiving a touch input related to the object; and a control unit for receiving the touch input related to the object, and executing an interface setting mode to modify a user interface related to application execution corresponding to the object when a pivot gesture input based on a received touch point is received.
