PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of preventing execution of any unauthorized settlement processing in a settlement processing which uses a card of a customer by using not only invalidity information acquired from another apparatus but also invalidity information acquired from own apparatus as invalidity information for prohibiting reception of the settlement processing.SOLUTION: In a settlement system 5, a credit card determination section 56 collates an input card number with acquirer/settlement processor negative data which is accumulated in an acquirer/settlement processor negative table 45 and shop original negative data which is accumulated in a shop original negative table 46. The credit card determination section 56 determines the validity/invalidity of the settlement processing using the input card number based on the collation result. When a negative data update section 55 has updated the shop original negative data on own apparatus, a communication section 23 delivers the updated shop original negative data to other settlement terminal apparatuses 100.
