In the present invention, the following steps are executed: a reception step for receiving an update request for a catalog file indicating a directory structure and a file structure for outputting information to be provided from a client device to a server device connected to the client device via a network, and for receiving identification information for the catalog file; an assessment step for assessing whether the identification information for the received catalog file matches the identification information for the updated catalog file stored in a database; and a transmission step for transmitting, when the identification information for the files is not matched, the updated catalog file stored in the database, and the identification information thereof, to the client device from which the update request was received. |
