Provided is a molding condition diagnostic device that diagnoses the suitability of a molding condition pre-set using a measured value detected during continuous automatic operation, and that is capable of informing an operator of such diagnosis. A molding machine is provided with a molding condition diagnostic device (1) that determines the suitability of a molding condition pre-set value and informs the operator of such determination. The molding condition diagnostic device (1) comprises the following: an input unit (2) that receives the measured value output from a measuring means (11) and the molding condition pre-set value set by a molding condition setting means (30); a comparison unit (3) that compares the measured value entered into the input unit (2) with the molding condition pre-set value; a storage unit (4) that stores the determination criteria for determining if the molding condition pre-set value is unsuitable; and a determination unit (5) that determines whether the comparison results from the comparison unit (3) satisfy the determination criteria stored in the storage unit (4). When the determination unit (5) has determined that the comparison results from the comparison unit (3) satisfy the determination criteria stored in the storage unit (4), the determination unit (5) outputs to a monitor unit (6) a unique determination display that corresponds to the compared measured value and molding condition pre-set value. |
