摘要 The invention provides a glass ceramic glaze composition manufactured using conventional raw material and one or more waste materials, wherein the waste materials are capable of producing glass forming oxides and glass modifying oxides. The waste materials are selected from a group that includes cullet, pozzolanic waste and fly ash. The invention also provides a method for manufacturing the glass ceramic glaze composition. Further, the invention provides different methods of glazing a glass ceramic substrate using the glass ceramic glaze composition.

A method for recycling an industrial waste to prepare recyclable foam sandwich panels and recyclable foam sandwich glazed glass ceramic tiles for building construction, the method comprising: pressing a first fine powder of a set of raw materials for preparing a core layer, wherein the set of raw materials comprises at least two raw materials selected from the group consisting of white sand, clay, cullet, limestone, pozzolanic waste and fly ash; depositing a second fine powder of a glass ceramic glaze composition on at least one surface of the core layer, the glass ceramic glaze composition comprising at least one glass frit, wherein a glass frit of the at least one glass frit comprises about 0 wt % to about 20 wt % of alumina (Al2O3), about 5 wt % to about 15 wt % of calcium oxide (CaO), about 0 wt % to about 10 wt % of ferric oxide (Fe2O3), about 0 wt % to about 15 wt % of potassium oxide (K2O), about 0 wt % to about 15 wt % of magnesium oxide (MgO), about 3 wt % to about 15 wt % of sodium oxide (Na2O), about 0 wt % to about 2 wt % of phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), about 45 wt % to about 75 wt % of silicon dioxide (SiO2), about 0 wt % to about 4 wt % of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and about 0 wt % to about 1 wt % of Chromium(III) Oxide (Cr2O3); pressing the at least one surface of the core layer and the second fine powder in response to depositing the second find powder; and firing the core layer and the second fine powder at a temperature of about 950° C. to about 1150° C., wherein the set of raw materials comprises about 10 wt % to about 40 wt % of white sand, about 10 wt % to about 40 wt % of clay, about 10 wt % to about 30 wt % of cullet, about 5 wt % to about 20 wt % of limestone, and about 10 wt % to about 30 wt % of fly ash.
