PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce overall processing load of a system for fault detection.SOLUTION: The system includes a plurality of information processing apparatuses connected via a communication path, and a management apparatus for managing the plurality of information processing apparatuses. The management apparatus transmits a message including information on a detected fault, to the first information processing apparatus which operates normally in a Hamilton path set for the plurality of information processing apparatuses. On receipt of the message, each of the information processing apparatuses transmits a message including information on faults detected so far, to an information processing apparatus which operates normally next when there is the information processing apparatus which operates normally next in the Hamilton path. An information processing apparatus which cannot detect an information processing apparatus that operates normally next in the Hamilton path, or which is located at the terminal end of the Hamilton path, transmits information on the faults detected so far to the management apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
