PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring substrate and an optical transmission module that are capable of optically connecting to other optical means with high degrees of efficiency.SOLUTION: An optical wiring substrate 1 includes: a substrate 2; a lower cladding part 3 that is disposed on the substrate 2 and has a groove part extending from an outer periphery of the substrate 2 to a further inner side than the outer periphery; a core part 4 that is disposed on the lower cladding part 3 and extends to the groove part; an upper cladding part 5 that is disposed on the lower cladding part 3 and covers the core part 4; and an optical fiber a portion of which is disposed in the groove part and that has a core connected optically to the core part 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
