PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which inhibits flaws from occurring to the outer circumference of a hose when the hose is attached to and detached from a single action pipe joint repeatedly, and to provide a locking member used for the pipe joint.SOLUTION: The pipe joint 10 includes: a pipe joint body 12; the locking member 16 mounted inside an opening 13 at one side of the pipe joint body 12; and a release member 18 that is reciprocatably mounted inside the opening 13 in which the locking member is mounted and whose tip end near the locking member 16 can push and expand the inner diameter of the locking member 16. The locking member 16 has a ring shape that is elastically expandable and contractable of the inner diameter of the ring, and has a slit 16a formed by chipping a part of the ring shape. The inner circumference of the locking member in each range of central angles of 15° to 45° based on the center of the slit 16a is larger than other range in the radius of curvature and corners of the slit 16a and ring inner circumference are rounded to have R. |
