PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image detection with high accuracy without being affected by illumination in air-conditioned indoors and sunlight, and to perform air conditioning control based on the image detection result.SOLUTION: An air conditioner A includes: imaging means 120 arranged so as to image indoors to be air-conditioned; an image detection unit 141 for executing image detection processing by using image data 125 imaged by the imaging means 120; a visible light attenuation filter 181 which can be arranged in front of the imaging means 120 and which attenuates light in a visible light band; an arithmetic processing unit 145 for calculating air conditioning operation setting according to the imaging result of the imaging means 120; and a drive control unit 146 for driving and controlling a load 160 for showing motors of the air conditioner A.
