PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a pitching system which allows a user to feel realistic sensation while imagining an actual baseball game.SOLUTION: A base ball pitching system includes: a camera device 31 capturing an image in a depth direction of a pitching room 100; a striped pattern 102d arranged on a floor in a predetermined range including a home plate and showing plural different positions in the depth direction of the pitching room; a mirror member 34 arranged on a ceiling right above the home plate and reflecting an image of the striped pattern toward the camera device; a stroboscope device 3 arranged on the floor at a position deviated from a light path between the mirror member and camera device and emitting light upward intermittently at a fixed timing; and a computer device 21 detecting a position of a ball based on an imaging signal output by the camera device capturing an image reflected by the mirror member of the striped pattern and a thrown ball blocking the image, and an image of the thrown ball from a rear side at a light emitting timing of the stroboscope device, and outputting a position detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
