PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight-reducing mouthpiece capable of efficiently achieving weight-reducing and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A weight-reducing mouthpiece 11 comprises: a tooth part 21 for covering teeth of a wearer; and a floor part 31 for supporting the tooth part 21, in which the tooth part 21 and the floor part 31 are integrated. The weight-reducing mouthpiece 11 is configured so that occlusal surfaces S1-S4 of a first premolar tooth T4, a second premolar tooth T5, a first molar tooth T6 and a second molar tooth T7 of the tooth part 21 are formed into a flat face S. The weight-reducing mouthpiece 11 is configured so that, when the wearer eats meal in a state of wearing the mouthpiece in an oral cavity, since the occlusal surfaces S1-S4 of the tooth part 21 are formed into the flat face S, it is difficult to crunch diet or mash diet by mastication. Therefore, mastication frequency of the wearer is increased relative to normal meal time, for even crunching the diet to small, so that energy consumption of mastication is increased, and the increased mastication frequency achieves satiation feeling in an early stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
