PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely simulate a behavior of an actual variable speed system without using any actual machine.SOLUTION: The test apparatus of variable speed controller is a test apparatus that simulates the behavior of a variable speed system including a motor, an AC machine, and an electric power converter. The test apparatus includes: motor calculation means that calculates the behavior of the motor by using quantity of state relevant to the motor and a predetermined transfer function; AC motor calculation means that calculates the behavior of the AC machine by using quantity of state relevant to the AC machine and a predetermined transfer function; and electric power converter calculation means that calculates the behavior of the electric power converter by using quantity of state relevant to the electric power converter and a predetermined transfer function.
