<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile removal and backfill method capable of reducing ground deformation after removing an existing pile left in the ground and filling back the cave left and reducing a construction period. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, an outer circumference excavation step of excavating along the outer circumference of an existing pile 12 using an excavation casing, a backfill agent supply pipe mounting step of mounting a backfill agent supply pipe 24 for supplying a backfill agent 30 with fluidity to the excavated outer circumference of the existing pile 12 and an existing pile drawing up and backfilling step of filling a pile removal cave with the backfill agent 30 by drawing up the existing pile 12 while supplying the backfill agent 30 via the backfill agent supply pipe 24 are performed. Drawing up the existing pile 12 while supplying the backfill agent 30 thus allows the pile removal cave to be directly filled with the backfill agent 30 without forming an air gap in the pile removal cave, resulting in reduced ground deformation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
