PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for a lithium battery, capable of suppressing an increase with age in resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a positive electrode active material for a lithium battery, which includes a positive electrode active material that contains an Mn element and is an oxide, and a coating part formed on the surface of the positive electrode active material.
