PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress image blur of a region other than a main subject, which is amplified by correction of image blur of the main subject, in an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an imaging device which captures a subject image, a detection unit which detects a main subject from the image captured by the imaging device, a position detection unit which detects a position on a screen of the main subject, an optical blur correction unit which optically corrects blur on the screen of the image of the main subject on the basis of the position of the main subject detected by the position detection unit, and a correction unit which corrects at least one of blur and distortion of the image of the subject except the main subject, which result from correction of image blur of the main subject in the optical blur correction unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
