PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system that allows an operator to be aware that a cartridge attached to a body of an image forming apparatus is not designed for the body of the image forming apparatus, and can achieve a reduction in size of the image forming apparatus; a frame used for the image forming system; and a detection member used for the image forming system.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes a first apparatus body 2A that operates in a first mode, a second apparatus body 2B that operates in a second mode, a first developing cartridge 11A that includes a first detection projection 57A to be detected by an actuator 92 of the first apparatus body 2A, and a second developing cartridge 11B that includes a second detection projection 57B to be detected by the actuator 92 of the second apparatus body 2B. A detection projection 57 of a developing cartridge 11 not designed for any of the apparatus bodies does not come into contact with the actuator 92 of the apparatus body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
