SOLUTION: To provide a method for, sterilization of strawberry by radiating an electron beam from outside of a package P to fruit vegetable (strawberry 1) stored in the package P, in which thickness of the package P is equal to or less than 350 μm, acceleration voltage of the electron beam is set to 150 kV or more and 300 kV or less, the electron beam is radiated to the fruit vegetable stored in the package, from one or the other side, for radiating the electron beam to whole periphery of the strawberry.EFFECT: It becomes possible to store fruit vegetable for a longer period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
